they keep sending out slimlines on these jobs no way to tune 99.104 ka
birds. there is no point dish screen for them listed irds for the slimline

if i cant tune it im not installing it. ther not gonna come back on me when
the 72.5 gets sent to the ka sat. i just had them order new equipment
does it make any sence to send outa dish that cant be tuned ?
i use an acutrac 3 so i can tune it but if i can see the screen to confirm signal does it make sence to any one?

Yeah it makes since. Peak 101 and 119 and they all fall in line. I got a laugh outta that training video DTV made. They made it sound like it was a big deal to tune the dish in.

As some comfort "tlc2260":

When the AT-9 (1st gen 5 lnb dish) was introduced i installed them BEFORE the HSp had them, before most even knew what they were.

The 99 sat and the 103 were not even active
& one was not even in the sky.

EVery one of those cx's at re-call after the sats went "live" were recieving the sats.

I pointed at Nothing too and for a good while,
and can honestly say i was one of the 1st If not the 1st to put these things up in this state.

The damn thing is a fixed LNB w/ no linear rotation .
So....
There is no reason to fret man...Keep doing what you always have on the HD jobs, you'll be fine.

Well said, That is what I was trying to say. LOL The one piece LNB is allot better then the original 2 piece unit.
