I took mine yesterday and was just wondering how others felt about it?

I told them it was glitz with little fact and a lot of promises.
I didn't like suggestions for next years locations.
I thought they needed to have programs that would go into effect at the end of the Revolution instead of months later.

Any chance you will ever hold it in Pittsburgh?

Isn't Pittsburgh one of those towns you have to drive through/around when you are on a trip from the East Coast heading somewhere important?

We never rule anything out, it just depends on a whole number of things. If we can get all the "planets" to align, we will look at anywhere.

Yeah, the Two wrong coasts call it "fly-over" country...It is where 99% of the REAL americans live!<tongue>

You must have heard of us Real life Americans, we grow and harvest corn, soy beans , REAL TOMATOES, wheat. We make Steel, Aluminum, Tires, Batteries, Most of the Electric in this country, we have Coal, Iron Ore, most of the rivers 90% of the best sports teams........:)

Yup - grab I-70 West. When you see mountains, stop at the next city - that's the MOST important one. Don't stay, though. Keep going until there's no more I-70, then you can drop anchor. ;)

got it, took it... the 2 locations that were suggested and not mentioned above were Los Angeles & Denver. I suggested Las Vegas (convenient for me, and fun for everyone else) But if they keep doing it in March, i'd rather NOT do it in the great white north!! wouldnt you winter folks rather go somwhere warm for a few days if your gonna travel?? I wouldnt say it was warm in Dallas, but it was in the low 70's. it was 87 degrees in Las Vegas the day I left for Dallas!

It will probably be the first week of March next year. If they want to make sure it's a month before Expo. ;)

I agree that it would be nice to keep it in the south if they have it in the cold months.

But from a northerners perspective, they never have had a northern city (except DC for that mini-summit)

they've done denver, phoenix, orlando, atlanta, dallas and nashville.

Chicago would be great for those in the northern states. I personally enjoy an extended weekend trip to Chicago once or twice a year to get away.

Thank you for filling in the missing cities, I also suggested Lost Wages for a destination.:)

I-70 West ends at Cove Fort, Utah. Are you sure you want to drop anchor there??<tongue>

Pittsburg is one of the cities you get stuck in when you are traveling home from a show and they shut down the airports on the East Coast. Better than Philly though as the ground crew doesn't go through your luggage looking for stuff to sell on e-bay.

Dang! I thought that was limited to Memphis and Newark!

Anyway, aren't the airport employees (like the satellite installers), supposed to have background checks and clearances? :D
